Rain, rain go away!

*8 months of planning, but you can't control the weather!

It is rainy and nasty up here in the land of rain!

We've abandoned camp-- and under-the-tarp living-- for the day, and we're heading up the Oregon coast.

"Welcome to Oregon", the sign just read!  it's my first trip here, and it looks as beautiful as Northern CA so far!

The wild ocean looks like a two year old having an uncontrolled tantrum.  Nobody ever swims here though.

Cows graze within sight of the shore.  Another sight which I've never seen before either.

We slept "damp" but survived the light chill, and revived ourselves with Keureg coffee, pancakes, and fried eggs--cooked under the tarp....

We're about to purchase $3.89 gas--"sooo cheap"-- as we drive into the fog and rain.

It is what it is...

But, I'm checking the Yellowstone forecast.  I don't want to ride a horse into the mist....
